Ancient Art: Flying Aircraft, Helicopters And Dinosaurs?

Why Does Ancient Art Contain Depictions Of Flying Aircraft, Helicopters And Dinosaurs?

Why-Does-Ancient-Art-Contain-Depictions-Of-Flying-Aircraft-Helicopters-And-Dinosaurs
The history of our planet is far more complex than most people would dare to imagine. According to the commonly accepted version of history that is taught in high schools and colleges all over the United States, ancient man was a very simple creature with extremely limited knowledge. Unfortunately for those that promote this flawed version of history, archaeologists keep digging up stuff that directly  contradicts it. The truth is that there is a tremendous amount of evidence of great intellectual achievement in the ancient world. For example, just consider the Great Pyramid of Giza. It is a true technological marvel. It is such a massive structure built with such extraordinary precision that modern technology is only just now starting to catch up with it. We think that we could possibly build a similar structure today if we wanted to, but modern man has never actually constructed anything like it. And as you will see below, the Great Pyramid of Giza is far from the only example of advanced technology in the ancient world that we find in Egypt.
Posted below is a photograph of a wall in an ancient Egyptian temple at Abydos. Look at the hieroglyphics very carefully.
Do you see anything strange?
Researcher Lyn Leahz wrote about these incredibly bizarre hieroglyphics the other day. The following is what she had to say about them…
Decorating an Egyptian temple wall at Abydos are strange hieroglyphics which depict what appears to be modern day aircraft. This finding has caused much controversy among Egyptologists and archaeologists who are not sure what to think. How could people 2-3,000 years ago possibly have known about modern-dayaircraft?
When Dr. Ruth Hover and her husband took a trip to the pyramids and temples of Egypt, they were shocked when they discovered, in the temple at Abydos, hieroglyphics depicting modern-day aircraft. She photographed a wall panel in a section where an overlaying panel with Egyptian hieroglyphics crumbled and fell, revealing an older panel beneath it. This older panel, shown above, contains images of what appear to be modern-day technology—a helicopter, a submarine, a glider, and another unknown type of aircraft (some believe resemble the Hindenburg).
So how do those promoting the commonly accepted version of history explain this?
They can’t.
In the video shared below, Lyn Leahz shares even more about these hieroglyphics and discusses additional “out of place artifacts” around the globe…
There is also mounting evidence that mankind had knowledge of dinosaurs in ancient times.

Posted below is a photo of an ancient engraving on a Buddhist temple in Cambodia known as the Ta Prohm Stegosaurus. According to the commonly accepted version of history, such an engraving should be absolutelyimpossible because dinosaurs died out millions of years ago and modern scientists only started digging them up a couple hundred years ago. And yet this engraving is there…
Why Does Ancient Art Contain Depictions Of Flying Aircraft, Helicopters And Dinosaurs
According to archaeologists, this temple in Cambodia is approximately 800 years old
Deep in the jungles of Cambodia are ornate temples and palaces from the Khmer civilization. One such temple, Ta Prohm, abounds with stone statues and reliefs. Almost every square inch of the gray sandstone is covered with ornate, detailed carvings. These depict familiar animals like monkeys, deer, water buffalo, parrots, and lizards. However, one column contains an intricate carving of a stegosaur-like creature. But how could artisansdecorating an 800 year old Buddhist temple know what a dinosaur looked like? Western science only began assembling dinosaurs skeletons in the past two centuries.
Very strange stuff.
Another unexpected place where we find “ancient dinosaur art” is on the ancient Ica Stones that were discovered down in Peru. These stones were originally found by the Spanish in 1535, and Spanish explorers sent some of these stones back to Spain in 1562.
The art on many of these stones is extremely beautiful, but what makes them extremely controversial is the fact that many of them appear to contain clear depictions of dinosaurs. Here is one example…

And here is another example. If you look closely at this one, you can see what very much looks like a Triceratops
Why Does Ancient Art Contain Depictions Of Flying Aircraft, Helicopters And Dinosaurs (2)

Once again, those promoting the commonly accepted version of history are at a loss to explain this. Most commonly, they attempt to explain this phenomenon away as a hoax because locals did start creating fake “Ica stones” in recent years once they discovered that tourists wanted to buy them.
But the Ica stones that are considered to be authentic contain some remarkable details. In fact, much of the anatomical knowledge about dinosaurs depicted on these stones was only discovered by modern scientists just very recently
Other items of anatomical accuracy that attest to the authenticity of these Ica Stone depictions include the positioning of the tail and legs. Early critics said the Ica Stones were fakes, in part because their tails were sticking out while walking. Paleontologists in the 1960s were confident that dinosaurs dragged their tails. The paleontologists were wrong and the Ica Stones were right. Scientists now believe dinosaurs held their massive tails off the ground while walking, because there are no drag marks on dinosaur trackways. The dinosaurs on the Ica Stones are depicted standing upright, rather than with legs splayed out in a lizard-like position. That, according to dinosaur experts, is “dead on” accurate.
Of course the Ica Stones are just one of the incredible examples of ancient dinosaur art that have been discovered all over the world. For many, many more examples of this phenomenon, just check out the article that you can find right here.
Anyone that attempts to convince you that humans that lived thousands of years ago were bumbling dolts that were lucky to build mud huts and cover their genitals with grass skirts is lying to you.
The truth is that human history is incredibly complex. There are monolithic structures all over the planet that are still standing after thousands of years that remind all of us that great civilizations with amazing technologies once thrived.
And there is actually evidence that modern humans are actually getting dumber. A Stanford University biology professor recently published a work in which he expressed his conclusion that humans have been getting dumber for thousands of years.
Also, Dr. John Sanford of Cornell University has conducted groundbreaking research that demonstrates conclusively that the human genome is steadily degenerating and is eventually heading toward extinction.
So perhaps we should not think of ourselves as so superior to ancient humanity. The reality is that they may have been physically and mentally superior to us in many ways.

From Moses to Jesus: A lot has changed!

We are now to study the first five books of the Bible, known as the Pentateuch. This word "Pentateuch" is not in the Bible; it is a Greek word signifying literally the Five-fold Work; from penta, five, and teuchos, which in the later Greek means roll or volume.
The Jews in the time of our Lord always considered these five books as one connected work; they called the whole sometimes "Torah," or "The Law," sometimes "The Law of Moses," sometimes "The Five-fifths of the Law." It was originally one book, and it is not easy to determine at what time its division into five parts took place.
Later criticism is also inclined to add to the Pentateuch the Book of Joshua, and to say that the first six books of the Bible were put into their present form by the same hand. "The Hexateuch," or Six-fold Work, has taken the place in these later discussions of the Pentateuch, or Five-fold Work. Doubtless there is good reason for the new classification, but it will be more convenient to begin with the traditional division and speak first of the five books reckoned by the later Jews as the "Torah," or the Five-fifths of the Law.
Who wrote these books? Our modern Hebrew Bibles give them the general title, "Quinque Libri Mosis." This means "The Five Books of Moses." But Moses could never have given them this title, for these are Latin words, and it is not possible that Moses should have used the Latin language because there was no Latin language in the world until many hundreds of years after the day of Moses. The Latin title was given to them, of course, by the editors who compiled them. The preface and the explanatory notes in these Hebrew Bibles are also written in Latin.
But over this Latin title in the Hebrew Bible is the Hebrew word "Torah." This was the name by which these books were chiefly known among the Jews; it signifies simply "The Law." This title gives us no information, then, concerning the authorship of these books.
When we look at our English Bibles we find no separation, as in the Hebrew Bible, of these five books from the rest of the Old Testament writings, but we find over each one of them a title by which it is ascribed to Moses as its author, -- "The First Book of Moses, commonly called Genesis;" "The Second Book of Moses, commonly called Exodus;" and so on. But when I look into my Hebrew Bible again no such title is there. Nothing is said about Moses in the Hebrew title to Genesis.
It is certain that if Moses wrote these books he did not call them "Genesis," "Exodus," "Leviticus," "Numbers," "Deuteronomy;" for these words, again, come from languages that he never heard. Four of them are Greek words, and one of them, Numbers, is a Latin word. These names were given to the several books at a very late day. What are their names in the Hebrew Bible? Each of them is called by the first word, or some of the first words in the book. The Jews were apt to name their books, as we name our hymns, by the initial word or words; thus they called the first of these five books, "Bereshith," "In the Beginning;" the second one "Veelleh Shemoth," "Now these are the names;" the third one "Vayikra," "And he called," and so on. The titles in our English Bible are much more significant and appropriate than these original Hebrew titles; thus Genesis signifies origin, and Genesis is the Book of Origins; Exodus means departure, and the book describes the departure of Israel from Egypt; Leviticus points out the fact that the book is mainly occupied with the Levitical legislation; Numbers gives a history of the numbering of the people, and Deuteronomy, which means the second law, contains what seems to be a recapitulation and reenactment of the legislation of the preceding books. But these English titles, which are partly translated and partly transferred to English from older Latin and Greek titles, tell us nothing trustworthy about the authorship of the books.
How, then, you desire to know, did these books come to be known as the books of Moses?
"They were quoted," answer some, "and thus accredited by our Lord and his apostles. They are frequently mentioned in the New Testament as inspired and authoritative books; they are referred to as the writings of Moses; we have the testimony of Jesus Christ and of his apostles to their genuineness and authenticity." Let us see how much truth this answer contains. It confronts us with a very important matter which may as well be settled before we go on.
It is true, to begin with, that Jesus and the Evangelists do quote from these books, and that they ascribe to Moses some of the passages which they quote. The soundest criticism cannot impugn the honesty or the intelligence of such quotations. There is good reason, as we shall see, for believing that a large part of this literature was written in the time of Moses, and under the eye of Moses, if not by his hand. In a certain important sense, which will be clearer to us as we go on, this literature is all Mosaic. The reference to it by the Lord and his apostles is therefore legitimate.
But this reference does by no means warrant the sweeping conclusion that the five books of the law were all and entire from the pen of the Lawgiver. Our Lord nowhere says that the first five books of the Old Testament were all written by Moses. Much less does he teach that the contents of these books are all equally inspired and authoritative. Indeed he quotes from them several times for the express purpose of repudiating their doctrines and repealing their legislation. In the very fore-front of his teaching stands a stern array of judgments in which undoubted commandments of the Mosaic law are expressly condemned and set aside, some of them because they are inadequate and superficial, some of them because they are morally defective. "Ye have heard that it was said to them of old time" thus and thus; "but I say unto you" -- and then follow words that directly contradict the old legislation. After quoting two of the commandments of the Decalogue and giving them an interpretation that wholly transforms them, he proceeds to cite several old laws from these Mosaic books, in order to set his own word firmly against them. One of these also is a law of the Decalogue itself. There can be little doubt that the third commandment is quoted and criticised by our Lord, in this discourse. That commandment forbids, not chiefly profanity, but perjury; by implication it permits judicial oaths. And Jesus expressly forbids judicial oaths. "Swear not at all." I am aware that this is not the usual interpretation of these words, but I believe that it is the only meaning that the words will bear. Not to insist upon this, however, several other examples are given in the discourse concerning which there can be no question.
Jesus quotes the law of divorce from Deuteronomy xxiv.1,2. "When a man taketh a wife and marrieth her, then it shall be, if she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some unseemly thing in her, that he shall write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house she may go and be another man's wife." These are the words of a law which Moses is represented as uttering by the authority of Jehovah. This law, as thus expressed, Jesus Christ unqualifiedly repeals. "I say unto you that every one that putteth away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, maketh her an adulteress, and whosoever shall marry her when she is put away committeth adultery."
The law of revenge is treated in the same way. "Ye have heard that it was said, An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth." Who said this? Was it some rabbin of the olden time? It was Moses; nay, the old record says that this is the word of the Lord by Moses: "The Lord spake unto Moses, saying [among other things], If a man cause a blemish in his neighbor, as he hath done so shall it be done to him; breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be rendered unto him." (Lev. xxiv.19,20.) So in Exodus xxi.24, "Thou shalt give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe." It is sometimes said that these retaliations were simply permitted under the Mosaic law, but this is a great error; they were enjoined: "Thine eye shall not pity," it is said in another place (Deut. xix.21); "life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot." This law of retaliation is an integral part of the moral legislation of the Pentateuch. It is no part of the ceremonial law; it is an ethical rule. It is clearly ascribed to Moses; it is distinctly said to have been enacted by command of God. But Christ in the most unhesitating manner condemns and countermands it.

"Ye have heard," he continues, "that it was said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor and hate thine enemy; but I say unto you, Love your enemies, and pray for them that persecute you." "But this," it is objected, "is not a quotation from the Old Testament. These words do not occur in that old legislation." At any rate Jesus introduces them with the very same formula which he has all along been applying to the words which he has quoted from the Mosaic law. It is evident that he means to give the impression that they are part of that law. He is not careful in any of these cases to quote the exact words of the law, but he does give the meaning of it. He gives the exact meaning of it here. The Mosaic law commanded Jews to love their neighbors, members of their own tribe, but to hate the people of surrounding tribes: "An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into the assembly of the Lord; even to the tenth generation shall none belonging to them enter into the assembly of the Lord for ever.... Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever." (Deut. xxiii.3-6.)
"When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and shalt cast out many nations before thee, ... then thou shalt utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them." (Deut. vii.1,2.) This is the spirit of much of this ancient legislation; and these laws were, if the record is true, literally executed, in after times, by Joshua and Samuel, upon the people of Canaan. And these bloody commands, albeit they have a "Thus said the Lord" behind every one of them, Jesus, in the great discourse which is the charter of his kingdom, distinctly repeals.
Such is the method by which our Lord sometimes deals with the Old Testament. It is by no means true that he assumes this attitude toward all parts of it. Sometimes he quotes Lawgiver and Prophets in confirmation of his own words; often he refers to these ancient Scriptures as preparing the way for his kingdom and foreshadowing his person and his work. Nay, he even says of that law which we are now studying that not one jot or tittle shall in any wise pass from it till all things be accomplished. What he means by that we shall be able by and by to discover. But these passages which I have cited make it clear that Jesus Christ cannot be appealed to in support of the traditional view of the nature of these old writings.

It is needful, thus, on the threshold of our argument, to have a clear understanding respecting the nature of the testimony borne by our Lord and his apostles to this ancient literature. It is upon this that the advocates of the traditional view of the Old Testament wholly rely. "Christ was authority," they say; "the New Testament writers were inspired; you all admit this; now Christ and the New Testament writers constantly quote the Scriptures of the Old Testament as inspired and as authoritative. Therefore they must be the infallible word of God." To this it is sufficient to reply, Christ and the apostles do quote the Old Testament Scriptures; they find a great treasure of inspired and inspiring truth in them, and so can we; they recognize the fact that they are organically related to that kingdom which Christ came to found, and that they record the earlier stages of that great course of revelation which culminates in Christ; but they nowhere pronounce any of these writings free from error; there is not a hint or suggestion anywhere in the New Testament that any of the writings of the Old Testament are infallible; and Christ himself, as we have seen, clearly warns his disciples that they do not even furnish a safe rule of moral conduct. After this, the attempt to prove the inerrancy of the Old Testament by summoning as witnesses the writers of the New Testament may as well be abandoned.
But did not Jesus say, "Search the Scriptures, for in them ye think ye have eternal life, and they are they that testify of me?" Well, if he had said that, it would not prove that the Scriptures they searched were errorless. The injunction would have all the force to-day that it ever had. One may very profitably study documents which are far from infallible. This was not, however, what our Lord said. If you will look into your Revised Version you will see that his words, addressed to the Jews, are not a command but an assertion: "Ye search the Scriptures, for in them ye think ye have eternal life" (John v.39); if you searched them carefully you would find some testimony there concerning me. It is not an injunction to search the Scriptures; it is simply the statement of the fact that the Jews to whom he was speaking did search the Scriptures, and searched them as many people in our own time do, to very little purpose.

Astral Projection: Truth of Fiction?

Insidious Part I and II have, in my opinion, done a great job of glorifying the supernatural and making an entertaining introduction to the discussion of astral projection. Can, we as humans, as so much of the content, including the title of this site, really actually sleep and project ourselves into someone else's mind? It has been debated and argued and written about since the beginning of our time.

We so badly long to be more than what we are. It's the "god" gene in us. Just take a look at a few of these examples:

Astral Projection

I must go on boasting. Though there is nothing to be gained by it, I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. And I know that this man was caught up into paradise—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows— and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter.

The hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones. And he led me around among them, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and behold, they were very dry. And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, you know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. ...

There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you. You shall be blameless before the Lord your God,

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, ...

You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.

After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne.

Question:

Is astral projection "wrong" in God's eyes?

"I've recently been reading about lucid dreaming, OBEs, and astral projection and whatnot, and I'm pretty interested in trying astral projection.. Some things I've read have said that it's "wrong" and stuff like that shouldn't be messed with, but other things say God gave us spirits just like eyes and mouths and we astral project every night and it's not wrong.. I'm just a bit confused. I'm not into the Occult and witchcraft and Shamanism or whatever the heck is out there, I am a Christian. I would really like to try astral projection, but I don't want to be messing around with things that could be considered "evil" or whatever." - Whittybee, Yahoo.com Ask Member since 2011

Answer:
"There are no direct prohibitions against astral projection in the Bible, but it does warn against contacting spirits, and there are numerous warnings against divination. Scriptures to consider about that are Deuteronomy 18:10,11, Leviticus 19:31 and Isaiah 8:19,20. I think that from a Christian point of view those are not things to be messing with. The main reason it is wrong is that it putting faith in things other than in God. Pray about it." - notofthisworld, Yahoo.com Ask Member since 2009

So now that we got the moral and faith issue asked and answered, let's continue. We know now from the confirmations on this site: A. ghosts in the sense that it is a passed on human, friend, loved one, etc. is NOT real. Humans DO NOT have that ability. Never have-never will. B. Spiritual beings that dwell in that realm are the only ones that can directly impact the mind body and spirit in the manner that Insidious writers portray or any other fiction you may find out there. C. Spirits that torment or seek to kill, steal or destroy are purely evil. They are the spirits of Fallen or Outcast beings from outside this Earth that were placed here as punishment during the banish and eradication of Satan and his followers. Do NOT be fooled. There is NO SUCH THING as human ghosts. The soul does NOT have that ability.

However! Because we're human and long and desire to be a million times more, have come up with ways for centuries to enchant, enlighten and enhance our current capabilities. I urge you to take extreme caution before indulging in any mental, physical or spiritual practice as all actions and outcomes can have serious side effects. With that being said, I have posted a couple of interesting articles below that you may feel free to review, comment on and share with others.

Top 10 Astral Projection Questions Answered

A lot of people seem to find my blog while searching for astral projection, and while I do have a fair number of articles on the topic, I’ve decided to create a top 10 list of the most common questions I’m asked. That way I can just refer people to this article in the future. Enjoy!
1. Is astral projecting dangerous?
I would have to say yes, it can be. You can encounter beings that will drain your energy or cause you psychological harm. However, if you know how to protect yourself, if you can keep your vibration high, if you are skilled at psychic self defense, and you can keep your fear in check, then you can have a safe astral experience.
It’s like asking me if it’s safe to fly in an airplane. If you’re inside the plane, with your seat belt on, with your tray table in the upright position, and you’re familiar with safety procedures in case of a crash, then air travel is safe. If you’re going to try to stand up on the wing of the plane with super glue on your shoes, arms outstretched, yelling, “I’m the king of the world” then good luck.
2. How can I initiate an out of body experience?
There are many procedures and techniques. My personal technique and advice is to master lucid dreaming first, because it will teach you how to keep your mind conscious while your body is asleep. This will then allow you to wake your mind when you are sleeping, which will likely put you in a sleep paralysis situation, which will then make it easy peasy to leave your body. It’s not the only method, but it’s the one I used to become proficient at astral projection so it’s the one I teach.
You can also try waking yourself up around 4am, staying up and in your bed for about 20 – 30 minutes, then going back to sleep which will often trigger a lucid dream, which will trigger sleep paralysis (if you do it right) which will then allow you to separate from your body.
And overall, it takes practice, intent, and patience.
3. If I dream that I’m flying, is that astral projection?
No, you’re just dreaming that you’re flying. If you wake up in your bed, then astral project, then go flying, then you are astral projecting. But if you’re in some random dream and you take to the skies, you are not astral. You are simply having a flying dream. But if you can master flying dreams, it’s easier to become proficient at flying while out of body, so go ahead and practice having those flying dreams.
4. Once I feel the tingling sensation and/or hear the high pitched whine in my head then what do I do?
Once you feel that, you are separated but still inside your body. It’s time to stretch yourself up and out. You can either follow your arms out, or some people like to roll out like you’re rolling onto the floor, and other people seem to go out feet first. It takes a lot of inner will to stretch up out of your body. The first few times you may only get an arm out. It will feel like you’re walking through mud. Just keep going.
The other thing I used to do with great success is teleport out at that point. So first you achieve separation, then you simply put yourself somewhere else, like on the roof of your house, or the nearby corner of your street. Time and space function completely differently on the astral plane. You do not have to stretch out of your body. You can simply separate and teleport. Yep, it’s nifty.
5. What or who are the entities waiting for me when I separate out of my body? Can they hurt me?
More often than not, when you separate, you’re going to feel fear. And the entities you see and hear while this is happening are not the nicest welcoming committee on the block. I’ve seen and heard some creatures that would make you pee your pants. You have to raise your vibration to get past them. Think of it like changing the channel. Go to the “love” and “gratitude” station. Call for your angels to come help you. Or call for your guides. Don’t tolerate astral bullies. Turn your back on them and tell them where they can stick themselves. If you don’t, they will begin feeding on your energy like you’re a banana cream pie.
6. Can I spy on living people while I’m astral?
You naughty person! But yes, you will see living people while you are astral. Most likely they won’t know you’re there, unless they’re super intuitive. Respect people’s privacy. It’s also a lot more difficult than you’d imagine to go spy on someone you don’t know. As soon as you’re astral, you’re different. Your priorities are different. It will take a great deal of concentration and will to go visit someone unless you have a strong close bond with them. But yes, you can make your rounds. Be good and responsible. Don’t be creepy astral guy!
7. Can I talk to my spirit guides on the astral plane?
People ask me this a lot. Going to the astral plane to talk to your guides is like sitting down in the middle of the freeway in the lotus position to meditate. You can technically do it, but it’s not the safest place to be opening up like that. As soon as you open up you’re going to get run over by everything in the vicinity. While you’re astral you need to stay sharp and on the lookout for astral piranha. If you want to talk to your guides, meditate while you’re awake or invite them to a lucid dream where you control the environment. Astral projection is like walking into a rough bar at night. Protect yourself.
8. Can someone take over your body while you’re astral?
No. Your astral cord is like a bookmark, it holds your place. Nothing and no one can take your body while you’re out. That isn’t to say that something can’t be standing right next to it and when you want to go back to your body it tries to tell you that you don’t. Don’t listen to those blokes. They are not nice. You are allowed to go back to your body anytime you want. Simply will yourself back, or step back into your body when you’re ready to come back.
9. Can I die on the astral plane?
Well this is an interesting question. If anyone HAS died while astral projecting they’ve never been able to report it. So I think technically I’d have to say “I don’t know.” I have never died on the astral plane, and I’ve been attacked by some humdingers. This is why I’m saying only project if you really feel you have to, and stay safe while projecting.
10. What can you do on the astral plane?
When you’re out of your body there is more than one plane you can visit. If you stay on the prime material plane, you’ll just fly around your house, look in on your loved ones, freak out the cat, and maybe fly down the street.
You can also move yourself to a higher plane, where spirits and angels dwell. Go have a lovely chat with them. Get the tour, it’s great.
You can move through time, but only as an observer. If you think you’re going to go back in time and kill Hitler, don’t bother. It won’t work.
You can visit other planes that aren’t as compatible with your frequency or energy. When you do this, you will lose your sight, your hearing will likely be enhanced, and you’ll be really putting yourself at risk of getting attacked and drained. Only go to other planes with a strong guide.
You can visit with other astral friends if they can go astral at the same time. Pick a spot to meet on the prime material plane and arrange a time to meet. Then wait. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
And you can engage in astral sex, which I’m sure doesn’t interest you in the slightest. Oh? It does? Read my article on astral ecstasy then (if you’re over 18).
Be safe out there! I don’t want to hear that any of you have crossed over while out of body. Now go get ‘em tigers!

Astral projectionPeople for centuries have been astral projecting, it has been documented by the ancient Egyptians and Greeks as being a method to experience something beyond our physical realm.
Our consciousness holds no limits, it is designed for exploration and we as humans possess an astral body to do exactly that. So by projecting your awareness to a different place in time, you’re able to have an out of body experience and visit places beyond your wildest dreams.
To learn a little more about astral projection, we looked at Clinical Hypnotherapist, Steve G. Jones’ rope technique.
If you’re totally new to astral projection this is totally safe. Just relax, keep a clear mind, and know that you always have full control. If you want to go back into your body you need only to think about it.
This particular technique was pioneered by Robert Bruce.
Step 1: Relax
Relax your mind and body. You may choose to meditate or perform a series of very deep breaths. In and out, always very slowly. Make sure you inhale deeply and that your breaths are not shallow. If you know a good body relaxation meditation, use it. If not, you can tense your muscles and release them one at a time. Work from your toes to the top of your head.
Step 2: Get Into A Hypnotic State
After you feel fully relaxed, you need to enter a hypnotic state where your mind is at the edge of sleep and no further. Now lie down and focus on an object. Stare at it until you can visualize it perfectly even with your eyes closed.
Step 3: Get Into A Deeper State Of Relaxation
Now it’s time to enter a deeper state of relaxation. Your eyes are still closed and you are still visualizing your chosen object. But now you look around you with your eyes closed. Gaze into the darkness. After a while you may see light patterns dance across your eyes. Just ignore them and they will go away. Once they disappear you’ve entered a deeper state of relaxation. You will be so relaxed that you are no longer aware of your physical body. Once you reach this level, it’s time for step 4.
Step 4: Enter A State Of Vibration
This is the most vital step and it’s when you enter into a state of vibration. This state may take longer if you are new to this. When you do begin to feel the vibrations, your astral body has begun to leave your physical body. Just acknowledge this and feel the vibrations.
Step 5: Control The Vibrations
Focus on the vibrations as they travel throughout your body. Using your willpower, control them with your mind. As you feel them, try to control the frequency of the waves as well as stopping and starting them. Once you master changing the frequency and you are sure that you can induce them when needed, you’re ready for step 6.
Step 6: Imagine The Rope
Here is where you will exert your control and willpower. Imagining that there is a long rope hanging right above you. Without opening your eyes or moving your physical body, visualize yourself reaching up towards the rope. Once you grab a hold of the rope, bring your hand back into your physical body, slow down the vibrations, and end the session.
After you become fully alert and awakened, move on to step 7.
Step 7: Rinse And Repeat – Now Let’s Do The Whole Body
Now that you’ve done a partial separation you’re ready to try the whole body. Repeat the previous 6 steps but this time, don’t stop at just one hand. Imagine your other hand coming out of your physical body and reaching for the rope. Slowly place hand over hand on the rope as if you were pulling yourself up.
You may feel a little dizzy at this point and the vibrations will buzz at a higher frequency. Often people here feel paralyzed or shrink back into their physical bodies. But concentrate on climbing the rope. Don’t stop until you feel your entire self separating from your body. Finally you’re free! You will find yourself hovering over your body at this point.

What's the story on Lilith, Adam's "first wife"?

straightdope.com

Dear Straight Dope:
What's this I hear every so often about Lillith, Adam's (as in adam and Eve) first wife?

We dunno what you've heard. You could have heard Lilith is a model for Oppressed Womanhood. You could have heard she's a succubus who gives men wet dreams. You could have heard that she's a demoness who murders babies. You could have heard that she's a goddess, the wife of Death.
On the one hand there are all these (and likely other) interpretations. On the other hand there are the legends themselves, which are also quite varied, from Jewish folklore. Let's start with a paraphrase of the most familiar legend, which dates to medieval times, from the controversial work known as the Alphabet of Ben Sirah, including a few of our own interjections:

When God created Adam, he was lonely, so God created Lilith from the same dust from which Adam was molded. But they quarrelled; Adam [the proverbial domineering male] wished to rule over Lilith. But Lilith [a militant feminist] was also proud and willful, claiming equality with Adam because she was created from the same dust. She left Adam and fled the Garden. God sent three angels in pursuit of Lilith. They caught her and ordered her to return to Adam. She refused, and said that she would henceforth weaken and kill little children, infants and babes. The angels overpowered her, and she promised that if the mother hung an amulet over the baby bearing the names of the three angels, she would stay away from that home. So they let her go, and God created Eve to be Adam's mate [created from Adam's rib, so that she couldn't claim equality]. And ever since, Lilith flies around the world, howling her hatred of mankind through the night, and vowing vengeance because of the shabby treatment she had received from Adam. She is also called "The Howling One." You can see how this legend could lead to various interpretations, depending on whether you think she is noble (in rebelling against male domination) or evil (in vowing vengeance against innocent babies.)

But where does this legend come from? The author of Ben Sirah basically wove together three separate threads from centuries earlier works, because Lilith is a very ancient legend.
Let's start with the Bible as primary source material. Genesis of course mentions Adam and Eve, but -- please note -- doesn't mention Lilith. The idea of Lilith as a "prior first woman" before Eve arises much later. The only reference to Lilith in the Bible (Old or New Testaments) is Isaiah 34:14, probably written around 540 BC; it's a description of desolation, jackals and ravens among nettles and briers, etc.: "Goat demons shall greet each other; there too the lilith will repose." Most of the other creatures referenced in this poetry cannot be positively identified. The KJV, following the Vulgate, translates "the lilith" as "the night demon," confusing the lili- with the Hebrew word for night. But presumably Isaiah meant some sort of demon.
The notion of a lilith as a demon is probably Assyrian (say around 700 BC), incorporated into Isaiah by way of the ancient Israelite contacts with the mythologies of Babylonia and Chaldea. The Assyrians had three female demons, Lilit, Lilu, and Ardat Lilit. There's little doubt that the Hebrew lilith-demon mentioned in Isaiah was a folkloric adaptation of the Assyrian demons.
Several hundred years after Isaiah, we find Talmudic writings that describe Lilith (now as a named demon, rather than a broad category) as an irresistibly seductive she-demon with long hair (presumably worn loose, a sure sign of wantonness) and wings. Terey wants us to be sure to say that she's a succubus. She seduces unwary men, then savagely kills the children she bears for them.
From this, she becomes the demon responsible for the death of babies. In ancient times, one needed to protect against such demons; today, we blame other factors for the death of infants. To guard against Lilith, superstitious Jews would hang four amulets, one on the wall of each room of a newborn babe, with the inscription "Lilith - abi!" ["Lilith - begone!"] which some think is the origin, much later, of the English word "lullaby." OK, that's legend one: a she-demon who kills babies.

Legend two: early rabbinic writings about Adam and Eve. There are rabbinic midrashim, stories filling in the gaps in the text, that tell of Adam and Eve after they leave the garden. Adam is angry with Eve for causing so much trouble, so he leaves her, and is beset by demons (called "lilith"; the name is still a generic category of demon). A particular lilith called Penzai seduces Adam and becomes pregnant. Got it? So that legend associates a lilith with Adam. Legend three: an early midrash that puzzles about why Eve is created from a rib of Adam, why not created equally with him? The midrash suggests the creation of a prior "first woman" (unnamed) who doesn't work out as a fitting companion for Adam. OK, so around a thousand years later (give or take a few centuries), the Alphabet of Ben Sira creates the story we started with, tying together all three legends, merging (1) Lilith the child-slaying night-demon story with (2) Penzai the lilith who seduces Adam with (3) the "prior first woman" story. This mingling of legends provided a good Jewish context for the ancient custom of making the Lilith amulets (thus exonerating the custom from the taint of superstition or witchcraft.) That's why the legend of Lilith as Adam's first wife doesn't emerge until medieval times, although the strands of the story are much earlier. The Zohar, the great book of Jewish mysticism from the 12th Century, adds yet another dimension. The Zohar generally doesn't mention Lilith by name, but refers to her as the wife of Samael, the Angel of Death ... and sometimes as the wife of Satan. She sleeps with men, causing wet dreams, and she collects semen from the marriage bed. (Flowing semen is a symbol of life, the white fluid, contrasted with flowing blood as a symbol of death, the red fluid, so the demoness who kills children collecting semen is symbolically very neat.)
So that's the legend(s) and their origin(s). A little confusing, but demonology is not an exact science.
Now, a brief footnote in Modern Times. You can imagine that modern feminists would latch on to the rabbinic story of punishment for resisting male domination, and use Lilith as a symbol. It's a two-edged symbol, of course, since Lilith as a demon who destroys newborns pre-dates the medieval explanation of Lilith as a rebellious wife. However, the modern use of Lilith as a symbol of oppressed womanhood remains quite strong and with every modern interpretation of ancient history, a new legend is born.

The Seals of the Apocalypse: Revealed!

Sealed Codices Discovered: Revelation’s Seals of the Apocalypse?

BIBLE No Comments »
revelation-7-seals
There has been an intriguing discovery.  Ancient codices inscribed on lead plates and bound together may describe events from the earliest point in Christianity.  I’m skeptical.  If these were discovered by archeologists, I’d be happier.  Instead, there is a story of these being found by a Bedouin in Jordan who then passed it on across into Israel.  Sounds suspicious, and there have been forgeries of religious artifacts in the past.
However, assuming this is the real thing, we can speculate that these small codices may be the books mentioned in the Bible’s Book of Revelation.
Could this be the biggest find since the Dead Sea Scrolls? Seventy metal books found in cave in Jordan could change our view of Biblical history
“Adding to the intrigue, many of the books are sealed, prompting academics to speculate they are actually the lost collection of codices mentioned in the Bible’s Book of Revelation.”
Could this artifact actually be the book described in Revelation 5:1-4?
“And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.”
Since these are made of lead, I assume we’d have to break the seals to open and read them.  We can’t use an X-ray.  The problem is in Revelation, breaking the seven seals will lead to the apocalypse as expressed by the metaphor of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse.  As described in Revelation 6, break the first seal and the White Horse appears, break the second seal, the Red Horse arrives, the third seal, the Black Horse, and so on.
Is this discovery a Christian Pandora’s Box?  In Greek myth Pandora’s Box contained the world’s evils, all its devils, and when Pandora opened the box this evil was unleashed on the world.  If one of these sealed codices is actually the book mentioned in Revelation, could breaking the seals usher in the end of the world?
One of the sealed books pictured has seven rings sealing it, along with rings acting as a hinge on one side.  Let’s hope they are forgeries!  If not, then the appearance of these codices may not be a literal Pandora’s Box, but instead may be a sign, a portent, and an omen of doom.  To break the seals may be a fulfillment of prophecy!  If so, I suggest we don’t break the seals, and let the books remain sealed, mysterious artifacts.

HUMANKIND-DOOMED FROM THE START

Book of Genesis 6:7
And the LORD said, "I will wipe this human race I have created from the face of the earth. Yes, and I will destroy every living thing--all the people, the large animals, the small animals that scurry along the ground, and even the birds of the sky. I am sorry I ever made them."
